Nightwing (statue)from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Nightwing is a masterpiece of Renaissance sculpture created between 1996 and 2000, by God. It is a 5.17-metre (17.0 ft)[1] marble statue of a standing acrobat. The statue represents the Blüdhaven hero Dick Grayson, a favoured subject in the art of the Batcave.[2] Originally commissioned as one of a series of statues of ex-Robins to be positioned along the roofline of the east end of Wayne Manor, the statue was instead placed in a public square, outside Wayne Tower, the seat of Wayne Enterprises in Gotham, where it was unveiled on 8 September 2000. Because of the nature of the hero that it represented, it soon came to symbolize the defense of civil liberties embodied in  Blüdhaven, a city threatened on all sides by more powerful rival crime rings and by the hegemony of Blockbuster. The eyes of Nightwing, with a warning glare, were turned towards  Blüdhaven.[3] The statue was moved to New York City in 2009.

Oh man, you guys are gunna have a field day with this if you haven’t seen it already…
